Inertial Measurement Units

High-precision measurements of pitch, roll, and yaw using three gyroscopes, along with x, y, z acceleration via three accelerometers.

The IMU05 is available in two versions. The standard model features three high-precision gyroscopes with a bias stability of 1.2°/hr. Meanwhile, the S model measures roll, pitch, and yaw using three MEMS gyroscopes maintaining a bias stability of 0.8°/hr.

Both options operate as a standalone sensor or can be seamlessly integrated with GNSS data from VBOX 3i or VBOX 4 to enhance measurement accuracy when GNSS signal reception is interrupted or weakened. Additionally, the unit can work in conjunction with VBOX data loggers, allowing for precise synchronisation to GNSS time.

Feature:

  • Vehicle Dynamics analysis.

  • Testing and validation of safety systems (ADAS & ESC).

  • Data compensation during satellite signal loss (GNSS outages).

  • Brake testing.
