The force–displacement monitoring system provided by HIKI TEC., JSC is ideally suited for industrial production lines in automotive, electronics, and semiconductor sectors—applications requiring the highest levels of accuracy and reliability. In precision joining and assembly operations, force–displacement monitoring enables early detection of defective components, allowing them to be automatically sorted out directly on the production line. System Overview
A system comprising three core components:
This system continuously monitors force–displacement curves (XY curves) during automated joining and pressing operations. It performs real-time evaluation: if the measured curve remains within predefined Evaluation Object limits, the part is classified as OK; otherwise, it is marked as Not OK. This approach enables comprehensive in-line quality assurance without additional manual inspection.
Key Components
• maXYmos BL 5867C Controller
The 5867C is an enhanced version of Kistler’s proven maXYmos BL series. It evaluates force–displacement curves and provides OK/NOK results for each production cycle. The upgraded model features a 5-inch color touchscreen for intuitive operation, encoder signal support, and additional options for data transmission and remote monitoring—delivering greater flexibility and user convenience.
• 4577A Load Cell
Based on strain gauge technology, the 4577A measures compressive forces from 0.1 kN to 200 kN. Its compact and robust design allows for easy integration into existing presses or hydraulic systems. The sensor is suitable for both static and dynamic force measurements, ensuring consistent accuracy in demanding industrial environments.
• 2124A Displacement Sensor
A potentiometric displacement transducer featuring an internal return spring, the Type 2124A offers measurement ranges from 10 mm to 100 mm. It is designed for exceptional durability with a service life exceeding 100 million cycles, maintaining excellent linearity and repeatability (±0.002 mm) for long-term measurement stability.
