In the increasingly competitive context of the bolt manufacturing industry in Vietnam, the application of advanced technologies in production processes and quality control has become more crucial than ever. To enhance production efficiency and ensure product quality, HIKI TEC has recently completed the transfer and training of the Bolt Friction Coefficient Measurement System (Analyse), a leading product from Kistler, to the renowned bolt manufacturing plant, Henry Hardware Industry.
Henry Hardware Industry Co., Ltd was established in 1966 and specializes in producing various types of screws and bolts from iron and steel. The company is 100% funded by Taiwan, serving both domestic and international markets, and is headquartered in Bac Ninh, Vietnam. As a leading company in the field of fastening accessories, Henry Hardware is a key supplier to automotive and motorcycle manufacturers, including brands in Taiwan such as China Motor, San Yang Industry, Ford, National Motors, Gogoro; and brands in Vietnam such as Honda, Yamaha, Piaggio, Hyundai, and Vinfast.
The friction coefficient is one of the key factors determining the performance and durability of bolts in industrial applications. Accurate measurement of the friction coefficient not only ensures product quality but also minimizes risks during use, thereby enhancing customer reliability. Recognizing this, Henry Hardware Industry decided to invest in advanced technology to improve its production processes.
Kistler's Bolt Analyse system is designed with advanced technology, allowing precise and quick measurements of the friction coefficient. Thanks to real-time data analysis capabilities, the factory can quickly adjust its production processes if any anomalies are detected, thereby enhancing productivity and product quality.
The Kistler Analyse system is designed to comply with international standards for measurement and quality control. Some important standards include:
ISO 6789: This standard specifies the requirements for the calibration and testing of torque measuring tools such as torque wrenches and other fastening tools. Compliance with ISO 6789 ensures that the measuring tools are calibrated accurately and reliably.
ISO 16047: This standard relates to the measurement of the friction coefficient of bolt and nut assemblies. The Kistler Analyse system is designed to perform measurements according to this standard, ensuring that the measurement results are accurate and meet technical requirements.
HIKI TEC has implemented a comprehensive transfer process, including the installation of the measurement system and training of Henry Hardware Industry's personnel on how to use and maintain the equipment. The engineering team from HIKI TEC, along with experts directly from Kistler, provided intensive training sessions to ensure that the factory staff can proficiently operate the system, from performing measurements to analyzing the collected data.
HIKI TEC not only focuses on technology transfer but also commits to accompanying customers during the operation and maintenance of the system. This collaboration not only brings immediate benefits to the factory but also contributes to building a foundation for sustainable development in the bolt manufacturing industry in Vietnam.
