Rogowsky Coil Current Probes

Rogowsky coils are easy to install and therefore perfect for field measurements. A Rogowski coil is a simple measurement device which allows an AC current measurement without splitting the conductor. It consists of a helical coil of wire with the lead from one end returning through the center of the coil to the other end so that both terminals are at the same end of the coil. This coil must be wrapped around the conductor where the current measurement will take place. This allows for a measurement to be done without cutting, disconnecting or stripping the wire. The alternating current in the conductor will cause a voltage induction in the coil.

A wide variety of ranges are available from 3 A to 30.000 A ACrms with accuracies down to 0.1 %. The bandwidth is starting from 10 Hz and is ending at 1 MHz.
