Photron high-speed camera FASTCAM MINI AX series

FASTCAM Mini AX is Photron's highest performance camera model in the FASTCAM Mini line of high-speed cameras. Mini AX delivers outstanding light sensitivity, excellent image quality and flexible ROI features for customers who do not require the high frame rates of the FASTCAM SA-Z series, while still being able to use the same a high-end image sensor.

The FASTCAM Mini AX line is divided into 3 models: Mini AX50, AX100 and AX200 – providing 1 megapixel image resolution (1024 x 1024 pixels) with frame rates up to 2,000 frames per second, 4,000 frames per second, respectively. fps and 6,400 fps. All three Mini AX models offer a minimum exposure duration of 1μs as standard, with storage options up to 32GB providing long recording times and flexible storage triggers.

The Mini AX100 can be supplied with a maximum frame rate of up to 540,000 fps and the Mini AX200 with a maximum frame rate of up to 900,000 fps with a minimum exposure time of 260 nanoseconds. Standard operating features of the FASTCAM Mini AX include a mechanical shutter to enable remote system calibration, a Gigabit Ethernet interface for reliable system control with high-speed data transfer to a PC, and the ability to Ability to remotely turn off the cooling fan to eliminate vibration when recording at high magnification levels.
